The Morris Jumel Community Garden in Washington Heights is getting a new next door neighbor. The currently undeveloped lot will soon be home to a six-story development at 453 West 162nd Street, according to a new building application just filed.
The building will be close to the 163rd Street/Amsterdam Avenue C-Train stop, making for great commuting access. Plans filed by developer Melody Development Inc. revealed the 8,712 square foot development will house 12 approximately 726-square foot residential units. The architect of record is Shahrish Shuvo of Shahrish Consulting LLC.
