Brooklyn-based Candor Capital has filed applications for a seven-story, 26-unit residential building at 495 St. Johns Place, located in western Crown Heights. The project would measure 20,344 square feet and rise 70 feet to its rooftop.
The residential units would be located across the ground through seventh floors and should average 676 square feet apiece. Apartments of that size indicate rentals are in the works. There would also be 13 off-street parking spaces.
Brooklyn-based NA Design Studio is the architect of record. The 5,895-square-foot lot is occupied by a two-story house. Demolition permits were filed in April. Records indicate pre-demolition inspection was conducted at the end of May.
