Nexus Development and Oved Group have filed applications for a seven-story, 12-unit mixed-use building at 185 Grand Street, located on the corner of Mulberry Street in Little Italy. The project would measure 33,906 square feet and rise 75 feet to its rooftop.
The Italian American Museum will occupy roughly 6,000 square feet across part of the ground and second floors, as well as two underground levels. Retail space will measure 2,486 square feet on the ground floor. A total of 12 residential units will spread across the second through seventh floors. The apartments should average 1,580 square feet apiece, indicative of condominiums.
Morris Adjmi Architects is the architect of record and is also designing the project. The 4,637-square-foot assemblage consists of a three-story mixed-use building. Demolition permits have not been filed at this time. Real Estate Weekly first reported on the filings.
