A Bronx-based property owner has filed applications for a five-story, 26-unit mixed-use building at 1357 Purdy Street, located in the Parkchester section of the East Bronx, just outside the 171-building planned community of the same name. The project would measure 24,432 square feet and rise 47 feet to its rooftop.
The residential units would be located on the second through fifth floors. They should average 680 square feet apiece, indicative of rental apartments. There will also be 450 square feet of medical offices on the ground floor, as well as a 13-car parking garage.
Westchester County, N.Y.-based Badaly Architects is the architect of record. The 8,100-square-foot assemblage consists of two two-story houses. Demolition permits were filed in May.
