Construction has topped out on the 13-story, 164-unit mixed-use building under development at 572 Eleventh Avenue, located between West 43rd and West 44th streets in the southern end of Hell’s Kitchen. The latest building permits indicate the project encompasses 178,857 square feet and rises 144 feet to its rooftop.
The new building will host 164 residential units across the second through 13th floors. The apartments, which will be rentals, should average 761 square feet apiece. There will be seven penthouses on the upper floors, Curbed NY reported. There will also be 10,827 square feet of ground-floor retail space.
The Moinian Group is the developer and CetraRuddy is the architect of record as well as the design architect. HM White is collaborating with CetraRuddy on the interiors, residential amenities, and landscaped terraces. Completion in 2018 appears likely, although no firm date has been announced.
