Long Island City Development Group has filed applications for a 12-story mixed-use development at 38-24 32nd Street, located in the Dutch Kills section of Long Island City. The project, which would be an expansion of the existing two-story commercial building, would measure 42,735 square feet and rise 120 feet to its rooftop.
The ground and third floor would contain 8,154 square feet of medical offices, followed by a 90-key hotel across the fourth through 12th floors. Hotel amenities would include a business center, a rooftop terrace, and a bar and restaurant in the cellar. A 33-car parking garage would be on the second floor. Paul J. Hessel’s Long Island-based firm is the applicant of record.
