NoMad-based affordable housing developer B&B Urban has filed applications for a 10-story, 100-unit residential project at 315 Linwood Street, located on the corner of Atlantic Avenue in the northern end of East New York. The new building would encompass 104,687 square feet and rise 115 feet to its rooftop.
The residential units would spread across the ground through 10th floors, averaging 858 square feet apiece. The project will likely be 100 percent affordable, although it’s not known whether a supportive housing component will also be included.
MHG Architects is the architect of record. The 13,023-square-foot assemblage is currently vacant. The site’s old collection of low-rise commercial buildings were demolished in January, per demolition records.
