YIMBY has renderings of the planned nine-story, 33-unit mixed-use building under development at 88 Withers Street, located on the corner of Leonard Street in the northern end of Williamsburg. The latest building permits indicate the new building will measure 39,815 square feet and rise 100 feet to its rooftop, not including bulkhead elements.
The project, dubbed Element88, will feature 33 condominium residences. The apartments will spread across the third through ninth floors and should average 938 square feet apiece. There will also be 5,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space, Commercial Observer reported.
RYBAK Development and BK Developers are the developers. Zproekt Architecture is responsible for the design. The development team recently secured $19 million in construction financing. Completion is expected in Summer 2018.
