Construction has structurally topped out and the façade has reached the top floor on the 12-story, 57-unit residential building under development at 160 Leroy Street, located on the corner of West Street in the West Village. Progress on the structure can be seen thanks to photos posted to the YIMBY Forums. The latest building permits indicate the structure encompasses 184,935 square feet and rises 155 feet to its main rooftop, or 185 feet to the top of the bulkhead’s parapet.
Residential units, all condominiums, will spread across the second through 12th floors, averaging 2,472 square feet apiece. The residences will range from one- to six-bedrooms.
The six-bedroom penthouse, across the entire 12th floor, will feature 12,000 square feet of interior space and 7,500 square feet of outdoor space. There will also be an 830-square-foot retail unit on the ground floor.
Ian Schrager Company is the developer and Basel, Switzerland-based Herzog & de Meuron Architekten is the design architect. S9 Architecture is the production architect and Madison Cox Associates is the landscape architect. Completion is expected by the end of the year.
