An anonymous Astoria-based LLC has filed applications for an eight-story, 14-unit mixed-use building at 21-20 31st Avenue, located in the heart of Astoria. The project will measure 16,139 square feet and rise 83 feet in height. There will be 426 square feet of ground-floor retail space, followed by 14 residential units across the rest of the above-ground space. The apartments should average 865 square feet apiece.
Amenities include residential storage space, a lounge and an outdoor rooftop recreation space. New Jersey-based TF Cusanelli & Filletti Architects is the architect of record. The 2,739-square-foot site is occupied by a two-story townhouse. Demolition permits were filed last month.
