A one-story warehouse at 74 Throop Avenue in South Williamsburg is set to be replaced by a six-story mixed-use building. Recent building permits reveal that Asher Hershkowitz Architects is working on the design. The building will include 12,916 square feet of residential space as well as 4,159 square feet of commercial space. Retail space will cover the first floor and cellar. One duplex unit will cover the second and third floors. Floors three, four, and five will include four residential units each. Two residential units and a 422 square-foot recreation area will be located on the sixth floor.
