Brooklyn-based Catholic Charities’ Caring Communities Associates HDFC has filed applications for a seven-story, 93-unit mixed-use building at 23-11 31st Road, located on the corner of 23rd Street in Astoria. The project will measure 83,402 square feet and rise 69 feet to its rooftop.
There will be 8,948 square feet of community facility space on the ground floor, followed by 93 affordable residential units, designated exclusively for seniors, on the second through seventh floors. The apartments should average 800 square feet apiece.
Dattner Architects is the architect of record. The 25,576-square-foot lot is vacant.
