In August of 2016, YIMBY brought you a rendering of a seven-story, 17-unit condominium building planned at 145 President Street, in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn. The design has changed since then and we can now bring it to you.
Union Square-based Avery Hall Investments is both the developer and designer. SLCE Architects is serving as the architect of record.
Located between Henry and Hicks streets, the building will rise 75 feet and span 48,469 square feet. An unspecified amount of that will go to community facility space on the first floor, for an urgent care facility. Residential use will cover 31,545 square feet. Most of the condos being three- or four-bedroom homes, the developer told YIMBY. That will include two “garden residences” and two penthouse units.
According the latest Schedule A, amenities will include a fitness room, a recreation room, and a shared roof terrace. There will also be storage for 14 bicycles and parking for 16 automobiles.
The nearest subway station is Carroll Street on the F and G trains, about a 10-minute walk.
Sales begin this summer and completion is expected in the third quarter of 2018.
