An eight-story mixed-use building has been proposed at at 70-01 Queens Boulevard, at the intersection with 45th Avenue in Elmhurst. According to recent building permits, the building will include retail space as well as an ambulatory diagnostic and treatment health care facility on the ground floor. A total of 1,080 square feet will be dedicated to commercial space and 478 square feet to a community facility. Total residential space will equal 8,153 square feet. There will be a total of 11 residential units; floors two through seven will house two units each, while the eighth floor will house one residential unit as well as an outdoor recreation area.
