An anonymous Brooklyn-based LLC has filed applications for a six-story, 10-unit mixed-use building at 1106 Bedford Avenue, located between Quincy Street and Lexington Avenue in the heart of Bedford-Stuyvesant. The project will measure 12,943 square feet and rise 65 feet to its rooftop. There will be 482 square feet of ground-floor retail space, followed by 10 residential units across the ground through sixth floors. The apartments should average 1,246 square feet apiece, indicative of condominiums.
The same developer is also building a similar six-story, 10-unit mixed-use building at 1104 Bedford Avenue. Plans for that building were filed last September. Maspeth-based Studio Gallos is the architect of record for both buildings. The 5,577-square-foot site is occupied by a single-story structure. Demolition permits were filed last August.
