YIMBY has renderings for a four-story, 10-unit residential project in the early development stages at 618A Monroe Street, located between Stuyvesant Avenue and Malcolm X Boulevard in Bedford-Stuyvesant. The project, filed earlier this month, has not yet received approval from the Department of Buildings.
Once the project is approved, developer Pine New York expects to begin construction. The new building would measure 7,852 square feet and its residential units, condominiums, should average 785 square feet apiece.
Brooklyn-based IMC Architecture is the design and executive architect. Renderings show some of the apartments featuring balconies and terraces. The 4,000-square-foot property is currently vacant. Construction is expected sometime after DOB green-lights the plans.
