Construction had topped out on the 12-story, 30-unit mixed-use building under development at 100 Norfolk Street, on the Lower East Side, but it wasn’t until earlier this week that scaffolding was taken down to reveal the structure’s glass façade. Progress on the project can be seen thanks to a Bowery Boogie update. The latest building permits indicate the structure encompasses 53,949 square feet and rises 120 feet to its rooftop, not including bulkhead elements.
The ground floor will feature 11,244 square feet of retail space, followed by 30 residential units throughout the rest of the building. The apartments, condominiums, will range from studios to a five-bedroom penthouse and should average 1,424 square feet apiece.
