Bronx-based Valdesia Holding Corporation has filed applications for a seven-story, 45-unit mixed-use building at 569 Prospect Avenue, located on the corner of East 150th Street in the South Bronx’s Longwood section.
The project will measure 66,000 square feet and rise 75 feet to its roof. There will be 6,776 square feet of retail and 1,080 square feet of community facility space on the ground floor. The residential units will spread across the second through seventh floors and average 887 square feet apiece, indicative of family-sized rental apartments.
Emanuel Kambanis’s Astoria-based firm is the architect of record. The 10,000-square-foot site is currently vacant. Its two-story predecessor was demolished last year.
