The Lightstone Group has secured $305 million in financing for their 61-story, 244-unit mixed-use tower under development at 130 William Street, located in the Financial District. The latest building permits, which haven’t been green-lit yet, indicate the tower would encompass 447,124 square feet and rise 750 feet, although Crain’s reports the building will stand 800 feet.
There will be 15,337 square feet of retail space across the cellar, ground, and second floors, followed by 244 residential units across the fifth through 60th floors. The apartments, condominiums, should average 1,320 square feet apiece.
Hill West Architects is the architect of record, although a design architect has yet to be selected. Since YIMBY’s update in January, the 12,032-square-foot site’s existing buildings have been demolished. Construction is expected to be complete in late 2019.
