Construction has topped out on the four-story, 30,535-square-foot commercial-warehouse building under development at 13 Grattan Street, located in East Williamsburg. The latest building permits indicate the structure, called The AnX, rises 60 feet.
There will be commercial-retail space on part of the ground floor. Artists’ studios will be located across the rest of the ground floor, the entire cellar level, and the second through fourth floors. The project will include 24 off-street parking spaces.
An anonymous Brooklyn-based LLC is the developer and Gene Kaufman’s SoHo-based firm is the architect. Completion can be expected later this year.
