A Flushing-based property owner has filed applications for an eight-story, 30-unit residential project at 131-19 Fowler Avenue, on the western end of downtown Flushing. The new building will measure 27,006 square feet and its residential units should average 755 square feet apiece, indicative of rental apartments. Amenities will include bicycle parking, laundry facilities and a rooftop recreation terrace. Flushing-based L&C Associates is the architect of record. The 5,720-square-foot plot is occupied by a two-story house. Demolition permits have not been filed.
