Construction has wrapped up on the exterior of the 12-story, 75-unit mixed-use building under development at 69 East 125th Street, in Harlem. The new building, dubbed Harlem 125, can be seen thanks to an update by Harlem+Bespoke. The latest building permits indicate the structure encompasses 80,619 square feet and rises 120 feet to its roof, not including bulkhead elements.
There will be 5,643 square feet of ground-floor retail, followed by 75 residential units across the rest of the building. The apartments, which will be rentals, will come in studio to three-bedroom configurations and should average 776 square feet apiece. Twenty percent, or 15 units, will rent at below-market rates through the housing lottery.
