Construction is now up to the sixth floor on the 18-story, 133-unit mixed-use project under development at 121 East 22nd Street, located on the corner of East 23rd Street and Lexington Avenue in Gramercy. The project’s 13-story component on 22nd Street has also topped out, per photos in a Curbed NY report. The latest building permits indicate the project will encompass 275,387 and rise 210 feet to its main roof.
The residential units, condominiums, will be located across the second through 18th floors. The apartments should average 1,603 square feet apiece and will range from studios to five-bedrooms. There will also be 12,125 square feet of ground-floor retail space.
Toll Brothers City Living and China-based Gemdale Corporation are the developers. The Office for Metropolitan Architecture is the design architect and SLCE Architects is the executive architect. Construction is expected in late 2018.
