New building permits reveal that a nine-story residential building will soon rise on the bulldozed lot at 2262 Frederick Douglass Boulevard in Harlem. The building will include 12,868 square feet of residential space as well as 1,723 square feet of commercial space on the ground floor. The rooftop will house a recreational area for residents. Before demolition, the lot was home to a long abandoned five-story tenement. The architect on file is Hany Rizkalla Architect PLLC and the development team is Silverrock Development LLC.
