Construction is now 28 stories above street level on the 38-story, 251-unit mixed-use building under development at 515 West 36th Street, located between Hudson Boulevard and 10th Avenue in the Hudson Yards district. Progress on the project can be seen thanks to photos posted to the YIMBY Forums. The latest building permits indicate the tower will measure 328,473 square feet and rise 428 feet to its rooftop.
There will be 13,573 square feet of retail space on the ground, third, and cellar levels, followed by 35,974 square feet of community space across the fourth through seventh floors for a student dormitory. The eighth through 38th floors will contain 251 residential units, averaging 789 square feet apiece.
