Brooklyn-based developer Adam America Real Estate has filed applications for a 12-story, 72-unit mixed-use building at 24 Fourth Avenue, located on the corner of Pacific Street in Boerum Hill. The project would encompass 113,963 square feet and rise 124 feet to its rooftop.
It would include 6,657 square feet of retail space across the ground and cellar floors. The second through 12th floors would host 72 apartments, which will be condominiums averaging 1,016 square feet apiece. ODA New York is the architect of record.
The developer is negotiations with the current property owner to acquire the 22,575-square-foot vacant site. The property was once occupied by the Church of the Redeemer, which was demolished in 2016. Construction on the new building is expected to begin in early 2018, The Real Deal reported.
