A Queens-based property owner has filed applications for a seven-story, 20-unit mixed-use building at 84-14 Queens Boulevard, in Elmhurst. The project will measure 25,919 square feet and rise 70 feet to its roof. There will be 3,073 square feet of ground-floor retail, followed by a 3,236-square-foot daycare facility on the second floor. The residential units, located across the third through seventh floors, should average 694 square feet apiece, indicative of rentals.
Flushing-based A&T Engineering is the applicant of record. The 4,661-square-foot site is occupied by a single-story commercial building. Demolition permits were filed last week.
