Brooklyn-based Gemstar Development has filed applications for a five-story, eight-unit mixed-use building at 1502 46th Street, located on the corner of 15th Avenue in Borough Park. The project will measure 23,493 square feet and rise 54 feet to its roof.
There will be 3,817 square feet of community facility space across the ground and cellar levels, followed by eight residential units throughout the rest of the structure. The apartments should average 1,880 square feet apiece, indicative of units with family-sized configurations.
Queens-based NY Building Associates is the applicant of record. The 5,017-square-foot lot is occupied by a three-story house. Demolition permits have not been filed.
