Sky Management has filed applications for a 22-story, 139-unit mixed-use tower at 511 East 86th Street, located in the Yorkville section of the Upper East Side. The project will encompass 133,929 square feet and will rise 235 feet. The residential units would spread across the second through 22nd floors and should average 734 square feet apiece. It’s not known if rentals or condominiums are in the works. There will also be 4,995 square feet of retail space on the ground and cellar levels, The Real Deal reported.
Arquitectonica is the architect of record. The 9,051-square-foot assemblage includes the four tenement buildings at 511-515 East 86th Street and 1642 York Avenue. Demolition permits for all four buildings were filed in 2015.
