Earlier this month, Maddd Equities filed applications for a four-story, eight-unit residential building at 308 East 134th Street, in the South Bronx’s Mott Haven section. The developer has since filed plans for two more buildings next door at 139-141 Alexander Avenue, located on the corner of East 134th Street.
The two latest buildings will measure 8,125 square feet each and stand four stories tall. Both will have 687 square feet of ground-floor retail space, followed by seven residential units. The apartments should average 830 square feet apiece between the two buildings. Shahriar Afshari’s Long Island-based firm is the architect of record. The 5,000-square-foot plot is vacant.
