Azimuth Development Group and the Upper Manhattan Development Corporation have filed applications for three multi-family residential buildings at 180 East 156th Street, 702 Grand Concourse, and 707 Concourse Village West. All of the buildings will be located on the same block of the South Bronx’s Fleetwood-Concourse Village section.
The building at 180 East 156th Street will be a 10-story, 120-unit mixed-use tower. It will encompass 116,463 square feet and include 6,043 square feet of ground-floor retail space. The one at 702 Grand Concourse will be a 14-story, 57-unit residential building measuring 57,564 square feet. The final building, at 707 Concourse Village West, will rise 11 stories and contain 98 residential units. That one will encompass 106,358 square feet and include 7,000 square feet of community facility space.
Across all three, the apartments should average 726 square feet apiece. The Real Deal reported they will be rentals. Suffern, N.Y.-based Aufgang Architects is the architect of record. The properties are vacant except for 180 East 156th Street, where there is a single-story commercial building.
